Bruce Brandit decided to do a little self examination when he felt an ear ache after swimming in a lake. Using his iPhone, he filmed his ear canal to try and diagnose the problem himself.
He had been swimming in a lake in northern Missouri and his ear had felt blocked after leaving the water.
Branit later posted the footage to YouTube, writing: ‘Swam at Lake of the Ozarks last weekend and got a super painful ear infection. Totally blocked ear canal. Tried to use my phone’s camera to see if I could see anything. Found this!’ Video after photo
