African father allegedly raped his daughter for 13 years

An unidentified South African father has been accused of raping his daughter for 13 years when she was just 14 years old in 1995.

The state alleges the rapes took place several times between 1995 and 2008.

The man who is a senior official at South Africa's Power utility Eskom is facing a charge of rape which was opened in December 2014, but the alleged rapist father was only arrested recently after an investigation took place.
He’s already appeared in court and has been remanded in police custody until his bail hearing on 11 August.
