December 1 is D-Day for 'Generations: The Legacy'

'Generations' creator Mfundi Vundla has revealed that 'Generations: The Legacy' will start two years after the previous instalment of the soapie ended in September.

According to Drum magazine, the show will return to SABC 1 on 1 December, under the name Generations: The Legacy.

"It's subtitled The Legacy because the Moroka children are coming back to continue the legacy of Paul Moroka.

"The people who are driving that legacy are the grandchildren of Paul and those will be the young actors who will be joining the soapie," said Vundla.

Connie Ferguson will return as Karabo Moroka, a character she played for 16 years.

And when asked if he's nervous about the viewer response to the 'new Generations', he said: "One has to be worried. It would be extremely arrogant not to be."
