South African rising actor , Dumi Masilela was shot at yesterday by car hijackers on his way to visit a friend in Tembisa, Gauteng, wounding Masilela. He died in hospital on Thursday morning.
Reports have it that Masilela on Wednesday night had parked his car when a black Jeep approached them. The actor and his friend tried to flee the scene but were chased by the occupants in the jeep who later opened fire.
The 29-year-old later died in hospital. Not long after his family confirmed his aunt had passed upon receiving the terrible news.
