Xenophobia: Nigeria demands compensation for victims of xenophobic attack


Today, Junior Foreign Minister Musiliu Obanikoro condemned the attacks on foreigners in South Africa, revealing his deepest concern on the safety of Nigerians and other nationals in the country.

 He concluded his statement by calling on the South African authorities to compensate the victims of these attacks.

Recap: From the Nigerian community alone more than ₦21 million naira have been lost (R1.2 million).
